Retired Canadian Military, retired in mid 40's with my wife that retired a few years later.
Traveled around the world looking for the best retirement spot, but have yet to find it!
Spend most of our time in EU as we feel it has most of what we are looking for, and unfortunately, is currently better than our home country.
My wife and I both have finished our careers early (I did 23, she did 25 years), and decided we were done with the govt and corporate world, so we walked away.
We have 2 children in late 20's, both still in Canada (despite our best intentions), but both did attend Uni after high school in Europe, but made their way back to Canada. I guess its in their blood! We have 1 grandchild so far, but maybe more coming!
My wife has degrees in alternative medicine and nutrition, despite working for corporate Canada for 25 years in HR. Myself, I have a degree in Philosophy and minors in Psychology and sociology.
Enjoyed a good life living several places across Canada, but since retirement feel the need to 'spread out'.
Enjoy life to the fullest as best we can!
