Baby Emus

We seen quite a few emus up near Broken Hill ,NSW. last time we were up,that way (500 Km from here ), we seen a full grown emu with 14 various size young ones think he may have adopted some ? The male takes care of the young
We see an odd one here but they tend to like areas that are not cultivated for farming cereal crops. The areas up near BH are refered to as (stations) not suitable for growing crops due to lack of rain, they mainly farm sheep and cattle, where in this area they are refered to as (farms) farmers grow Canola, wheat, barly, oats and other cereals like peas and lintels, some farmers also keep sheep and cattle
