Yes indeed! I was just there a few days ago and noted the stacks of boxes of Christmas cards. Yikes.
Hobby Lobby definitely seems to rush the seasons, but my friends pointed out that it's a crafts-oriented store so people start their holiday projects early.

Apparently Kmart ( Australia ) has a a range of winter type Christmas jumpers / vests for children and adults . …..OMG wonder if they are getting desperate to sell more stock …..
In Australia christmas temps can vary …but Christmas ..IS ….in the middle of ….SUMMER ……. so why would we want winter type Christmas clothing …
we’ve had mild Christmas days of about …33c = 91F ..
but temps can get up to 104 F ….for up to 2 weeks ..or longer …around Christmas

Amazing isn't it, how time flies. 12 weeks to Christmas, or thereabout. It only seems like 12 months ago that it was this time last year!

When I was a kid, this was the time Sears sent out their Xmas catalog. I can't tell you the hours I spent trying to whittle down my wish list to only 100 toys.

I know what you mean. Back in the early 1960s, we received the Montgomery Wards catalog. I was visiting my neighbors when it came one year. The girl grabbed it and started circling EVERYTHING in the toy section. I can bet she didn't get it all.

I actually like the knitted Christmas vest. I’m not usually a sweater lover. Generally speaking, I find them too hot and itchy.

For sure! And every year I have the same complaint: Thanksgiving is just an afterthought. Some things here and there but not like it's a real holiday and that ticks me off because it's my favorite holiday.
