I purchased one dozen white eggs today, cost at my closest market was $3:27..

For me, it's been supply, not price. The local WinCo had the limit of 2 dozen eggs and mighty slim picking.

I'll be shopping tomorrow. Might go crazy and get 36. Local politician coming by I hear....

We paid $6.56 for a dozen of larges at Walmart yesterday and I saw a sign for $14 today for a carton of 18 larges today. I asked a passing clerk why the 18 are so expensive and she just rolled her eyes and said, "Yeah, crazy huh?"

$2.42 for Walmart's carton of 18 large eggs this AM. Same package of skinned chicken breasts bought 2 weeks ago has dropped $2+. Yes, I like eggs & my cholesterol count is below 165.

The $.06 difference must be delivery charge.

Wow! I'm getting my WM pickup order ready today and I just checked... $6.86 for 18 Great Value large and $4.64 for a dozen. The price differences according to location is ridiculous! EDIT: At least I see they stayed the same from last week when I posted the price here. I guess that's something!

2/8/23 Eggs 18 LG @ WM $2.56 - 2/6/23 Eggs 18 LG @ WinCo $5.78 (price ck). Less than 1 1/2 miles apart. We get our coffee beans from WinCo @ $6-6.50 a lb (best deal).
