Food processor replacement parts cost

My Cuisinart food processor is at least 25 years old, maybe older. It has been a workhorse in the kitchen. We need a new plastic bowl. Looked online. Fifty bucks! And that doesn’t even include the lid. A new processor is available for anywhere from one to two hundred bucks. This really seems odd to me. But what with inflation, and our throw away mentality, I guess it’s to be expected. *Sigh*
 

Yeah, I was looking for an additional part for something today. Not a replacement, but more of an extra that I didn't originally get. No longer available unless I buy a whole dubious used set of stuff off eBay.
