How many close friends do you have?

Well, not as many as I used to.....they keep dying off. I think as we get older, we just aren't as close to as many of our friends. I'm still close to my oldest friend; we lived next door to each other two different times (first time as babies), went to school together and roomed together in college our freshman year.

My first high school boyfriend is still a bestie. Some others are still treasured friends but we don't see each other much.
 
One, that lives several states away.

I have a small group of Facebook family and friends, pretty much in name only.

I take the word friend very seriously and have been fortunate to have had a few very intense and loyal relationships in my life.

I’m not sure that I have the time or the energy to establish any new friendships but I’m certainly open to the possibility.

I want to be friends with the one leaning against the coupling. He looks like a friendly guy.
 
Quite a few but, the closest two are with people who I have known for much of my life.

To be honest, I didn't make a lot of effort to form friendships when life was younger and busier so, I am very fortunate that the friendships I did form have turned out to be long lasting. :)
