Hello all. I live in western Canada. I'm nearly 76, living on a mountain-valley acreage. Quite active, as is my three-years-younger wife.

Retired magazine/newspaper journalist & regional business-association manager. Involved in our community. Growing largish vegetable, berry, and flower gardens.

Enjoy nature, music, reading, and more.

Maybe someone can tell me how to upload a picture. I mean to add one to a post. There's a little icon (looks like tiny image of a landscape), but it didn't work for me. It seemed to indicate it's for uploading from a website: "http".

you have to have a certain amount of posts or be a member for about a week..before you are able to post pictures..
