I've never been much of a boxing fan but I'm looking forward to this one. And of course I'll be rooting for the old guy, being I'm an even older guy. I hope Iron Mike cleans that young punk's clock. I hope he knocks him into next week. I wanna see him pound that young punk into oblivion. C'mon Iron Mike. Do it for all of us old guys! :)

I really hope Mike knocks him out. They're fighting 8 x 2min rounds so that gives hope to Mike with gas levels at his age. Even so he needs to get him in 3 I think. Also with 14oz gloves. I wouldn't be surprised if it goes the distance and they judge it a draw so there can be another monster money making opportunity.

If I were a gambling person, which I am not, I'd put some money on Tyson. Apparently he's a 2-1 underdog. I think he's going to clean that kid's clock.

Whelllll, I hope he beats the kid but not because I think the sun rises and sets on him.

Some may or may not know that Mike Tyson owned a big piece of property about 50 miles east of Cleveland, Ohio for several years. it was about 25 minutes from where I grew up. that means I knew exactly where it was and that he kept lions on that property. his lions were his pets. and they bit him. and he needed plenty of stitches. but he claimed to love them anyway.

I was never fond of the fact that he had the lions, for the simple fact that they are a wild animal, and not meant to be kept the way he kept them.

living in such close proximity to his farm, which this link below calls the house a mansion, I heard things that werenā€™t very nice. Whether they were true, I have no idea.

He was born in 1966! I always thought he was a lot older! The link below was written three years ago.

I haven't followed the build up to this event, although years back I was a Tyson fan. The money line favors Paul. Still I don't think Tyson would have taken the fight if he still didn't have knockout power. Paul looks like a holder. If Tyson gets inside, he'll likely knock him out. Tyson will charge Paul right from the git-go. It may be down to if Tyson has the stamina.

I hope to be watching tonight, but I am afraid that so many people will try to log on to Netflix at once that the site will crash.

I used to follow boxing closely, and I watched Tyson closely, hoping he might be the next Joe Frazier. Not the next Muhammad Ali. I think Ali was a one off. But then Tyson went crazy, biting ears off of opponents, and mentally breaking down as happens once in a while when confronting instant fame. I lost interest. I'm not sure why, because more exciting boxers were waiting to come up through the ranks. But I never got back into boxing. I won't watch the fight tonight. I'll read about it tomorrow. I'm not interested in picking a favorite. I know nothing about Paul, and I probably know less than I think I do about Tyson.

The last time I followed Boxing, my favorite fighter was Archie Moore.

I remember Archie too, but I was only mildly interested in boxing back then. I almost remember Joe Lewis. He was the first boxer I was introduced to when I first heard about boxing, but I only knew of his reputation.
