I was reading a news story online about seniors living alone, and the writer kept mentioning all these forums he got his info from--so I did a search for Senior Forums and ended up here. I've been divorced way longer than I was married, lived in NY (all over the state) until my mid-40s, then came out to CA. I have to say I miss a lot of things about NY--the city, people, the atttitudes--but I've moved so many times already in my life and am too old to do it anymore.
