I actually like the darker evenings, I feel I can just snuggle down , curtains and blinds closed.. and not be expected to be doing stuff.. but right now it's 15.47.. and it's glorious sunshine.. in 20 shrt minutes the Sun will set.... Blimey..i don't like that
 

Sunset is just after 5pm here. But we are nearing the winter solstice, and daylight will start getting longer.
 

5:18 pm at my location. I'm still unaccustomed to the early nightfall but by mid December it will seem normal. By December 21st and the winter solstice I'll be gladdened to know that the longer days are leading to the coming of spring.
