Thankfully, no one took a picture of me at this moment.

Years ago, when those pocket hoses came out, I became the proud owner of one. Was watering some plants with a spray nozzle. Noticed a bubble forming below the hose connector. I kept staring at it like a deer in headlights. Then, yes, it exploded in my face.:oops:🤪

My primitive low tire alert came on yesterday!

Is the pressure too low, too high, is the tire too cold, which tire!!! 🤔

I stopped at two different filling stations and purchased air, no joy!

I’ll try again today, I hate to admit defeat and go to the garage over something so simple, yet so frustrating.

Life was so much easier, and less stressful, when I used to just give my tires a quick look and hit the road! 😉🤭😂

That happened on my truck a few years ago. My mechanic wanted to charge me $125 to replace the sensor. o_O I changed mechanics!! Like you, I don't need an idiot light to tell me if I have a low tire.

(When I eventually bought new tires for the truck, the tire shop replaced all of the sensors for $10 each. ;))

I had all four sensors replaced, they are required as part of the annual New York State vehicle safety inspection.

Two were a bit spendy and the other two were part of the annual change over to snow tires.

I don’t mind spending a few bucks to keep my old hooptie chugging along.

It amazes me how much some people spend on a new vehicle and the size of the payments that they are willing to take on for up to 72 months.

This morning I checked and no flats so I went to the filling station with the high tech digital read out and audible alarm air machine, I was able to fill all four and the light on the dash went out.

I think the tire pressure dropped due to the latest little cold snap.

I guess I'm lucky. My car doesn't use those valve-stem sensors. No batteries to die either.
In this system, the vehicle’s ABS wheel-speed sensors calculate air pressure based on wheel-rotation characteristics.
