I started watching it over the weekend and decided to stick with it. There are only 8 episodes. It is based on a fantasy book series. Has anyone read the books?

I made it about 5minutes in ... until the hideous monster tree turned into a human figure on the bridge and picked up the pair of glasses.

That's how I felt about Walking Dead.. So many I knew raved about the show. but I only watched about 5 minutes of the pilot and it wasn't for me.

I hate the new breed of zombie movies because they try to make them as gory and gruesome as possible. I did watch World War Z though. It was released in 2013; I streamed it a few years later. Since then I became a fan of the iZombie T.V. show but didn't see all of the seasons. When I was going to cancel Netflix, I skipped over a lot and watched the finale episode to have closure. I may go back and watch a few of the episodes I missed when I resubscribe.
