May I ask how you mix that?I'm a black coffee drinker, but I've cut back to making weak half-decaf. Even so, in cold weather i can only drink so much.
Sometimes tea works, but it dries the mouth and throat. Herbal teas are another possibility, but some are bitter and even with variety I need something else.
Lately, off and on, I drink a hot weak mixture of sugar-free Jello (or a knock-off). Quite a few flavors to choose from, and you get some gelatin with its benefits for hair, skin, and nails.
Sometimes I'll even drink hot Crystal Lite, a sugarless instant "water flavoring" product.
The idea being to limit caffeine and sugar, but if I can also eliminate artificial sweeteners so much the better.
Ideas?
I had no idea these were chicory. I love the blue colour of them. We used to make those chain flower things for our heads and pretend we were getting married.
I remember tons of these chicory plants in back of our yard in the summer. They were too hard to pick and weave into chains like we did with daisies and purple clover.
Sure. But nothing very sophisticated, I assure you. I simply put about 1/4 of a small box packet into a dry cup and add 10 ounces or so of very hot but not boiling water and stir. Let it cool a little before sipping. It's easy enough to vary the concentration.May I ask how you mix that?
