A Nice Walk ( with photos )

Thank you CaliS.

Today is somewhat rainy so we left early to beat most of the rainfall. It was 13 degrees and 100% cloudy so a bit on the cool side.
Here are pictures of the tree fairy houses, which I’ve taken before.

We met Murphy today. Murphy’s a labradoodle. He’s a good boy. I asked if I could take a picture of him today and his owner said yes, so here he is.

I think I will take a short nap. I love naps. Do you.? I put an alarm clean clock so I don’t nap too long.

Have a nice day.

Today we went for 2 walks. One was on a dirt country road. It was only a couple of kilometres long. The other was our usual forest walk on the outskirts of the city. It’s about 3 kilometres so a total of approximately 5 kilometres. The reason why we did 2 walks was due to the wind. The first walk was very windy. Too windy. Going to the forest walk where the path is greatly sheltered was a strategic move. There was no wind in the forest. Another thing we noticed on the forest walk was the river had water in it. We could hear the water cascading over the roads.

Another nice thing was the leaves offered a layer of insulation on the path.

We didn’t see Murphy today. We saw one couple with a small dog who thanked us for leashing our dogs. We always put them on their leashes when we see other people whether they have a dog or not. It’s not only the safest thing to do, it’s the right to do.IMG_1226.jpeg
It was 11 degrees and slightly rainy.
Have a lovely day.
Note: I posted this late today. I had a nap today.

Nice pictures. :) Murphy looks like a nice boy.

Weirdly, I have this thread on "watch," but I'm not getting notices about it. I'm going to "unwatch" and "watch" it again and see if that works.
Hi Medusa. It’s nice seeing you.
Murphy is a very nice dog. His owner is a nice man too. He talks a lot though. Lol.

Sorry I can’t help you with the ‘watch’ thing. I’ve never had a thread on watch. The thread is in the Outdoor section . I hope that helps.

Today was rainy but we went to Celtic Shores to go for a walk. When we got there we realized how windy it was and decided to go the opposite direction than we normally go mainly for a walk. There’s a lot less scenery going this way but it is much more sheltered.

A wooden bridge.

We saw lots of rainbows today. It was a real mixture of sun and cloud mixed with rainy intervals.

Today we went back to the Celtic Shore Trails but this time we drove to the next stop. We haven’t been here for a while and it was a nice change.

First thing I noticed was a community garden started. Most of the vegetables were gone but it looked well used.

The trail was well maintained as usual.

During our walk I spotted some painted stones and decided to keep one which resonated with me. That’s what they are there for. You are to either keep one or move them to a new location. IMG_1271.jpeg
We stopped at the chimes and played a song

Then we passed the craft store. Last year we went in and bought a gift for someone . Lucky for us we got some free homemade fudge.

Today I took more pictures than usual.
We stopped at the designated benches too; just for a few minutes. IMG_1264.jpegIMG_1276.jpegIMG_1277.jpeg
We saw a deer jump out of the trees and run across the highway. It was too far away to take a picture but I was luckily enough to take a picture of a bald eagle of the way back home. I hope you enjoy viewing it as much as I enjoy sharing these photos.

Gorgeous, Patty. Seeing a Bald Eagle always makes me feel like I've been part of something extraordinary, just for a moment. ♥️

WOW !!! Look at that! Beautiful and I love how there are these random benches on your walks - I would need those for a bit of rest along the way. :ROFLMAO:
