The US does have scam task forces, though. Some reports go to the FBI's task force, some to the state equivalent, [your state] Bureau of Investigation.

Prosecution is like shaking your fist at the clouds. A lot of the countries or provinces within countries where scammers operate either simply don't do anything or they have a stupid rule that says the complainant has to go to their country to pursue justice in person, like in certain parts of India (the parts that have the most scam centers).

I took the problem to the police and showed them a copy of the actual e-mail. Where do you see fear of discovery in that?

I'm not upset about the black mail attempt, but I'm not thrilled that he knows my name, address, email address and my phone number.

Create a scam folder then move the post to it "for your collection". Then block the address it was sent from. As far as your postal address and phone number you can try reporting it to the police. You can also change your phone number and see if the post office can block the addressee from posting. If you are married you should confide rather than try to hide.

Yesterday, I learned here that only Christians ever had slaves. Never mind that slavery was a world wide practice for thousands of years with Muslims not only owning slaves but having entire slave armies. Slavery carried into modern times primarily because scientists had divided humans into "races" and assured us all that some races were superior to others. Lets also forget that slavery was finally ended by Christian abolitionists.

Yesterday, we also learned that only Christians ever cheat on their wives.

There are billions of Christians on the planet so I'm sure it will be hard to keep up with all the bad ones every time one of them does something wrong. I'm also sure we won't get any statistics on any other religion's wrong doers and definitely not the atheists who must be perfect in every way.

or see anything I am doing. Gotta be smarter than them lol
So proven, I cannot be observed via my computer or laptop
cameras.
