Visited many years ago. The widow of Mr Winchester thought she was being haunted by all those that died by Winchester guns. Beautiful elegant home, stairways that went nowhere and doors that opened to walls to confuse the ghosts. Craftsman worked 24 hours a day.

About 35 years ago this small bungalow was bought by someone for whom, money was no object.
He was a professional football player, that's the soccer type of football.
The bungalow is in an area on the edge of The New Forest, where any building work has to be done to strict
guidelines. Despite that the bungalow was stripped down to a shell, the floor space more than doubled,
a second floor added along with an easy access loft. The finished work was quite impressive.
