I am binge watching Baby Reindeer this morning. It's a British limited series on Netflix. I think it's good but some may want to be cautious about it if you are sensitive to some things now, like abuse. It's about a comedian who befriends a woman and it gets quite complicated.

Update: I finished watching it and still thought it was worth watching.

Note: I have updated the thread title at someone's suggestion.

I watched it a couple of weeks ago. There is a thread about it. It was well done but still not sure what I thought about it.

I'm currently watching Maniac starring Jonah Hill and Emma Stone. It's very different and I'm still not sure where it is going but I am enjoying the ride so far.

I also did a rewatch Mindhunter . It's very good. I think one of the top Netflix shows but can be disturbing to some. It's loosely based on the formation of the Behavioral Analysis Unit of the FBI set back in the 70's.

Right now I’m watching a British series, We Hunt Together on Crave/Bravo. I have to seriously organize what series I’m going to watch. It’s disappointing when I wrap up a season and find the next one isn’t available on the carrier I’m using.

I like it too. I don't know if you ever watched Eureka but it has that same kind of vibe.
Eureka is a favorite show my millennial daughter and i watched all the original airings of together and have binge watched the whole series again a year or two ago on one of our steaming channels. The ROKU channel itself often has all the seasons of older shows.

We both felt that it showed how there are different types of intelligence. Carter's was very common sense, practical smarts. Often his questions were the catalyst for the geniuses to find a solution.

I didn't see Eureka but did watch Roswell Arizona or New Mexico. I forgot the exact place, I really enjoyed that one. I realized I like Science Fiction.
Roswell is in NM and is the site of one of the earliest UFO reports. While the government later denied it, the then (1940s i think) small town ended up embracing the publicity and now makes a nice sum from hosting UFO conferences, many of the businesses cash in with alien themed souvenirs. Plus tv and movie crews sometimes film UFO themed things there.

Know this not only due to my UFO interests NM my chosen home state since retirement.

Thanks for correcting that . I did not want the fine people of New Mexico to be confused with the crazy state of Arizona ;)

One of these days I'll get around to Bridgerton Season 3. It took me a couple of years to finally watch the first 2 seasons. I was surprised how much I enjoyed the series, because I didn't think much of the books. I read them all, but ended up only keeping the two "Lady Thistledown Diaries" in my permanent collection.

I enjoy romance historicals but feel there are a number of better authors than Quinn. But the simplicity of her stories is precisely why it translates well into visual media, especially when the casting and costumes are so well done. Adding POC to the cast was a great twist, too.

I did finish Maniac and I enjoyed it. It is a wild journey though. It's quirky, funny, sad, confusing, and many other things rolled into one. It's labeled as a Sci Fi show and in a way it is but it really is a show about two depressed people and their journey to happiness. The premise is they will find that happiness through a medication from a big Pharma company but it is much more that that.
