Are you streaming ( or binge watching ) any series on Netflix, or any other service? Tell us about it.

monk... Monk...MONK....MONK :D
Original. Funny. and Smart funny.
On second go-around and still finding it entertaining.

And.... I like Natalie better than Sharona. 📶

Also into Vikings but won't watch again because now I ...KNOW...who killed whom, who conquered where, who's plotting against which king, who's sleeping with whom, and most of the secrets of the characters. ;)

Oh, re: Netflix...... I check EVERY newly announced series :cautious: and go to the "Episodes" list and....if the last displayed episode reads like "Uncle Bozo discovers the murderer and begins to form a plan" ....
....... I SKIP THAT ONE !!!!..... 🥶

Right now I’m watching a British series, We Hunt Together on Crave/Bravo. I have to seriously organize what series I’m going to watch. It’s disappointing when I wrap up a season and find the next one isn’t available on the carrier I’m using.
We watched both seasons of We Hunt Together. It was chilling but excellent!

We are currently watching Under The Bridge on Hulu. It is based on a true story about an Indian girl in Victoria, BC who is bullied and turns to a group of bad teenagers who end up murdering her. The evil teenagers are so believable that one of their adult co-stars (Lily Gladstone from Killers of the Flower Moon) said she was afraid of them on set. It is disturbing but interesting and well-acted.

We watched all episodes of Stranger Things on Netflix and can't wait until the final season airs next year.

This was a tragic story that was on the news for months. Reena Virk’s mother fought so hard to ensure it was kept in the limelight and the killers were held accountable. We still see news clips of that evil witch murderer, Kelly Ellard, getting day parole, etc. Reena was 14 when she was murdered.

Netflix is such a wasteland. A few things here and there, but so many foreign series of erratic quality rebranded as "Originals" I can't even laugh anymore. I'm slogging through a turgid Icelandic thing about a volcano that is somehow creating evil clones of the living and the dead... but I'm ready to abandon it. I can't believe I ever got cajoled into subscribing to this drek.

Tubi, Roku Channel, Pluto TV, Freevee all offer me better material. Even Amazon Prime Video is still far better than overpriced Netflix.

I recommend "Gotham" on Tubi, "Dead Like Me" on Freevee, "Hanna" on Prime Video.

I'm just not into soap operas.
I disagree about Netflix. I find a whole lot of things to enjoy on there. There was a time when I thought the same as you but I left there for some time and when I came back I found a lot I liked. I guess opinions differ on everything.

Glad the OP started this thread. I wanted a place to post my eclectic tv watchings. I'm all over the place with tv stuff.

I'm rewatching Virgin River and Gilmore Girls on Netflix. I'm keeping up to date with Will Trent and The Rookie on Hulu. I watching Good Witch on Netflix and The Good Witch movies on the Hallmark channel through Hoopla, my free local library service. I'm also watching the Curious Caterer, which is a cozy mystery, on the Hallmark channel.

I love cozy mysteries. There's a bunch of them on the Hallmark channel. There's also a bunch of the British ones on Acorn TV. I'm considering subscribing to that, but most of the shows are also on Hoopla, so I can get them for free but need to strategize on using library credits.

I did finish Maniac and I enjoyed it. It is a wild journey though. It's quirky, funny, sad, confusing, and many other things rolled into one. It's labeled as a Sci Fi show and in a way it is but it really is a show about two depressed people and their journey to happiness. The premise is they will find that happiness through a medication from a big Pharma company but it is much more that that.
Your synopsis made me want to watch this, so I looked it up on justwatch. This is their synopsis.

Two strangers are drawn to a mysterious pharmaceutical trial that will, they're assured, with no complications or side-effects whatsoever, solve all of their problems, permanently. Things do not go as planned.

Made me laugh. What could go wrong?!

Thanks for the recommendation. It's now on my watchlist.

I was very into Virgin River a few years ago. Now I find I can't get back into it, even though I'd like to see where the storyline goes.
You can wait for a while. I was excited about getting to the end. I thought things would tie up nicely, only to find out that it's not over yet. The next season is due out in 2025. I wish I had known that before I raced to the end, or so I thought.

I loved Virgin River! I may watch that again!

I'm probably odd but the only shows I watch again are comedies. I can't even count the times I've watched 30 Rock, Seinfeld and I Love Lucy. Back in the day, I had every I Love Lucy episode recorded on VHS tapes. :ROFLMAO:
