Well, you can't really blame anyone for missing your point (If that was the case).
Ther very first sentence of your post says: "Obviously the media gods are attempting to normalize mixed race relationships"
Hard to imagine it had nothing to do with mixed race relationships.

Well I certainly did yesterday, but then again I'm a dog and any end of the stick is good, the right one or the wrong on A pig's ear and daily rawhide chew wouldn't go amiss, either. Apologies to you, Mr Ed in case I helped derail your thread, it wasn't my intention.

For a significant portion of my public school years I went to schools that were close to 50/50 Blacks and Whites. Too often I was subjected to so 'n so is going with whooz itz --- none of which involved me. The one thing I did learn was there are plenty of reasons to dislike someone based on who they are, or how they act-- not things they have no control over. So I do have an ingrained knee-jerk reactions to some stimuli.

As for the DNA thing, those of us that have no Neandertal DNA are vastly superior to you mixed breeds. So shut up, accept we are your over lords, and mow my damn lawn! That's what passes for sarcasm in my mind, for those that need that pointed out.

sir, you are certainly an overlord because i cannot determine your attempted insult from sarcasm. I will let this go as a sign of goodwill, however my mind is sharp as my wit and someday I will be equally as witless as you. sarcasm in case you are unfamiliar with my sense of humor

Oops I goofed not my intention to bring race into conversation thread. but it was the most prevalent example I was aware of. Media gods know the influence they have over its audience and exploit us every opportunity available to them.

I regret this thread and wish it no longer exists, anyone got an eraser?

Ha ha. I am part Neandertal (My mother had me tested), and there's a vicious rumor going around that my Neanderthal G. Grandfather around twenty thousand generations ago had a fling with your adorable and pure G. Grandmother back in the day.
Again, just a rumor, but you may want to be tested. If you've ever made a grunt or two getting up from the couch, well, perhaps it may just be my G. Grandpappy saying hello, and if so, you and I are very, very distant relatives.

As for mowing your lawn, my ancient kin just let the goats do it, so even though we did invent the wheel, it just made no sense to us to plant something, water it, fertilize it, and mow it since you couldn't eat it. I get that it's caveman thinking, but we were just more into the arts.

It seems to me the right way to do that is not make such a big deal about it. If your neighbour to the right is black and a good guy you appreciate him no matter what colour he is. If your neighbour to the left is black and a lot of trouble you dislike him no matter what colour he is. You learn by experience that colour isn't a determining factor. The same goes for mixed relationships. You learn by experience, not by propaganda.

Those in power pushing Political Correctness do not want people discussing the below. This peaceful Counterculture person has a "Let it Be" attitude.

After WWII, Ivy League Tower elites decided the only way economic globalization for their Wall Street masters might succeed during current generations given the huge differences in peoples across the globe was if media, especially tv and newspaper media, actively massaged masses with mixed populations versus the Western European ethnic that dominated the world for centuries before. Before the modern era, there was always immense frictions between different populations, not just between nations but also even those on the other side of railroad tracks, humans enthusiastically reveled in pushing Us versus Them.

That is also absolutely obvious for anyone studying anthropology of earliest civilizations that began 10,000 years ago in the first city states of Mesopotamia that were constantly in wars against nearby like neighbors. And was further obvious when anthropologists began studying remote third world primitives where many murderous tribes constantly were in conflict with neighbors for more food productive environments and women.

Although homo sapiens genetics are very similar at basic levels, there are many real differences at other levels for various populations of humans that is beyond racial and ethnic. Most cultural differences are easily changed with nurturing of environments that has been proved with certainty in studies that have destroyed the older imperialistic colonial narratives Western powers used to conquer and enslave third world primitives they often referred to as inferior intelligence savages.

The most obvious I've mentioned herein is not skin color but rather physical facial attractiveness. That and other difference factors, are why today as ethnic populations A to Z across the planet due to infrastructure of modern transportation and telecom technology are suddenly being thrust into the same competitive global realms, friction and issues were certain to arise.

There are huge differences between facial attractiveness of average Caucasian women of aristocrats and nobles that developed over relatively short periods of centuries versus otherwise identical ethnic peoples of serfs and those that lived at subsistence levels just trying to survive. Per Maslov's Pyramid of Needs, once greater populations exist at the top self actualization level, significant changes occur in facial attractiveness as males with more power and wealth dominate and take most attractive mates. One sees more differences in other body physical structures just as is the case in other mammals, say breeding of dogs where an amazing range of breeds have quickly arisen in mere centuries.

As for intelligence between different races, there are always examples of genius persons even from most remote third world areas compared with Western world elites, however when viewed as a Bell Curve, it is true some regions are more likely to have those Bell Curves away from global averages, all else being equal. In like manner, people in some regions on average live longer while others have different body sizes and height and much more, because evolutionary genetics is always at work within reproduction.

In any case, we planet way overpopulated Earth monkeys need to accept differences of others peacefully, helping those with less natural assets, lest we are all doomed.

Firstly I must state, I don't have a racial bone in my body. I say that because if I had to list the number of movies I've seen over the last three months with a couple made up of a mixed raced couple, the site would blow up. I mean, I'm at a point where I'm surprised to see a same race couple. It's this kind of heavy-handed push that grates. There is no reason a white woman should love a black person, and vice versa. But when you start to notice same race couples are becoming a rarity, it's a problem.

But then, movies have pushed agendas forever. Movies made smoking cool. They make gun play cool. They make violence cool. It goes on.

Cultural pride and heritage? Wow. I have lived on three continents. I have worked in four. I have little time for heritage and cultural pride. It's too often used to create "other" and prejudice. Culture changes over time, and it benefits from a mix of all cultures. Heritage? I am the product of a working class background, and there's not much to be proud about.
 
I don't watch many movies but I'm thinking of several current TV series I am watching or have recently watched - a mixed bag of genres - and same race couples are not a rarity at all.
 
Honestly, I wish I could experience first hand how people of all and kinds lived, what a wonderful gift to walk in somebody else's shoes. I am more than curious about African Americans, how they communicate to each other and their dialog.

As a matter of fact I consider African Americans superior to caucasians based on what was learned from Rev. Martin Luther King who faced violence through passive measures to promote changes in society. White people gauge superiority on strength, fear and violence, however, it takes intelligence to open a dialog and keep it going until the problem has been resolved.

I got off track, my opinion does not matter but I wish I could experience what it is to be a man of color in today's world of acceptance. Selfishly, doing this would be like running the race of redemption only part way, and gaining the prize without the struggle of getting here.
I admire African Americans, I wish I was one.

The media has an effect on society. That's why people like Alex Jones and Rupert Murdock become influencers. But don't blame the media for everything that bothers you.
