Am setting up my first AccessARide for tomorrow, Christmas. One way, as my son is driving me home, at which time he will remove the cats' cones.
AAR. First time in weeks. Travelling on a holiday is usually a safe venture. But yet.............AAR. Have much to conquer, first amongst that is fear.
Wednesday must deal with them again, but I shouldn't think about it till Tuesday.

my daughter rang earlier, she said she went into Tesco where she lives, and she said almost everything was yellow stickered, even the Finest range... She said she bought loads and froze it all...

We have dense fog here. I don't think my son is leaving to head this way until early AM tomorrow though, so I'm not worried. One thing to wrap, but food and such for tomorrow is pretty much set.

Good morning! So far, today I have had my
A while ago my tablet decided to stop supporting email (Dio's tablet, too.....so it wasn't a problem on our end) Now, it's working again and I am quite backed up. I first now saw some Thanksgiving e-cards that were sent to me!!!
Now comes the problem of responding. I'm not good with email, and I don't subscribe to an e-card service, so, well, there goes my morning!!
Other than wanting to congratulate Anne (well done!!!), I have not read any posts!! With luck, I will be back later to do that.

Well I jut had a parcel stolen from my front door.
I didn't hear the doorbell.. but there was a message and picture from Amazon showing they'd left it on the porch... when I went to get it it was gone...

Fortunately they stole something very low price.. just some plant feeders... so if they were hoping to gain something of high value then they're sorely disappointed... but it's gonna be a hassle for me to tell Amazon I didn't get it when there's clearly a picture showing I did..

Not a good start to the day…. Arrived to babysit younger granddaughter. She is ‘in a mood’. Won’t go into the dynamics, I’ll just say I feel really discouraged right now.
Hopefully it will warm up soon so we can go to the park and work off some of this frustration

Okay so I just finished biscuits and sausage gravy, no one
came by to enjoy with me (Granny?)....not much planned for
the day yet, it started raining here about 1hr ago, and will prob be off n on all day....enjoy your day no matter what!!!

So far, got up, drank the cold, strong coffee I'd left in the kitchen last night for my morning. Built the fire in the fireplace insert. Fed the MaineCoon. Every year we re-aclimatize as winter sets in. Today, I can feel this late onset. It's only a shade below -7*C (19*F) outside, but somehow feels colder out there. Glad to be back in. After a while, -7 won't be something to talk about here.
We expect friends to show up here for tea/coffee & snacks in the afternoon. They've just returned from being down in Washington state.

Just received a Christmas card, it had been delivered at wrong address. Got wishes and returned wishes to that lovely neighbour.
It gets crazier... Inside the card, there's the usual Christmas and New Year's wishes BUT a note's included as well. It says: "Sorry, the earliest your Christmas present can be delivered is on or about 11 January. We apologise for the delay. Merry Christmas!"
So, we're getting a Christmas gift in the New Year, yippee!
Sandwiches are made, Deviled Eggs ready, we had lunch, dishes done. Nothing much to do until late tonight.

Just shows how few people are sending Christmas cards through the post now. My daughter sent out just 6 cards this year, because the postage is so high.. and she. got a reply from one recipient who said.. Happy Christmas to you, you old fashioned girl...
