I've experienced a few unwarranted explosions, but I chalk it up to Bubbles popping and resentment of the real world and loss of privilege. Imagine somebody daring to tag himself "Cwazy Conservative" here? They'd be on him like piranhas!
Guess I am not nice, I would have taken right back to the store, if they did not make it good, another product, I would have dumped the disgusting thing right in the check out line so others would be aware of the spoiled product being sold.Wow! Some people got a rotten deal ... Just read this via The Sun UK Newspaper website...
'Christmas is ruined' blast shoppers as their supermarket turkeys are 'rancid'
These poor people... So
Absolutely right. Many of these people paid £60 for the turkeys... there's no way I wouldn't be taking it back....Guess I am not nice, I would have taken right back to the store, if they did not make it good, another product, I would have dumped the disgusting thing right in the check out line so others would be aware of the spoiled product being sold.
Many has been the time I have embarrassed my son by taking a spoiled product back to the store. If we do not stand up and reject this behaviour they will continue to profit by selling spoiled dangerous products to the public. I was always either given a product or upgraded to a different item. So, many may have called me a Karen but when they get home with there own rancid product there eyes are opened that grocers are quite willing to sell products that are not fresh or safe for the public.
That breaks my heart, every product I had received or purchased from them had been perfect. I even go there when I want ham for sandwiches, so much better from any deli and reasonable in the same cost area. I will admit that I have a honey baked ham store just a couple of miles from home. Maybe they are not so good overseas but in my community they are well loved.. So much so that I often fo early to purhase if I want something because the lines are ridulous. Some years back I purchased some Honeybaked Ham products,
whole ham, half hams etc, they were rancid when they came in....got a refund and it all went into the trash....
I, for one, always enjoy your posts.Anyone feel the forum has gotten more................aggressive and intolerant?
Anyone, today posting feels like trying to pick my way through a mine field.
This Sony TV (Android) was purchased in Nov.,2018. It no longer supports an Apple app. The Apple help shows some Sony TVs from that time, just not ours. We had it until at least early 2022. Five years in technology makes things obsolete. Crazy. We can’t even cast it from the iPad to the TV. There’s not a bats chance that we’ll renew Apple for a second month@Jules Just curious...why can you no longer watch the show(s) on your T.V.? What is it with these streaming services?! After Netflix hiked their bill by almost 100%, I could no longer watch shows on my T.V. due to buffering and freezing. Never had that problem with they were cheaper and don't have it with any of my other streaming services. I've never had Apple TV and don't see it in my foreseeable future.
We watched a new (to us) Christmas movie called Snow. It was really good....it will be added to our annual list Christmas movies to watch.Merry Christmas morning, y'all. It's pouring rain here. Temp is a balmy 57.
I watched Elf again last night so it's really Christmas. Today I'll watch A Christmas Story.
Maggiecat and DD's kitty probably talked to each other last night, but I slept through it.
Nobody will be awake around here for a couple of hours. We all know that 'tis just as blessed to receive as to give. How am I supposed to know how blessed I am if they don't get up and give me gifts?
Wow! That's crazy. I'm sure my TV is more than 10 years old and I've had no issues like yours. I did have to get a new Roku player a couple of years ago though because something wasn't going to be supported (forgot what now) plus I wanted to be able to watch YouTube on the TV and my old Roku didn't have that capability. The Apple TV app is available via Roku and is under the "recommended for you" category, It says "May require fees" but there's not a bats chance in hell that I'll be subscribing either. This Sony TV (Android) was purchased in Nov.,2018. That's fine as long as you don't have to sign up for a year or need to be under a contract. I'll probably subscribe to Netflix 2 or 3 months out of the year just to watch their originals. But I'll wait until new seasons for all of them are there then binge watch like crazy. I'll also unsubscribe to Paramount+ a few months a year. My other services have been deemed keepers for one reason or another but my annual streaming bill averages $40 a month considering the temporary canceled subscriptions.@OneEyedDiva, we’ll have to look into Roku, though as DH says, we’re not likely to want to pay for Apple’s subscription very often.
Not sure what you meant by that comment. Hmmm...how would politics fit into what we're talking about? But of course you can post links...just be careful about which ones. When you posted those two videos the other day, I had the impression you hadn't watched them all the way through, yet you knew he was a far righter. Also, I don't know if you've noticed but I have...that political comments about other countries have been posted. I hate politics or as my Jamaican boyfriend from decades ago used to say..."Poli-tricks", so not discussing them is fine with me.
Not only am I cheap... oops, the other shoe there risks being "political."
Thank you, that seems wise. Not sure what you meant by that comment. Hmmm...how would politics fit into what we're talking about? But of course you can post links...just be careful about which ones. That's business not politics IMO. I'm getting sick of Apple and so are some of my relatives. Too much exclusivity and their products are overpriced. A friend of mine says Apple upgrades are more like downgrades. Lord knows I've found that to be true! I have a Mac and am trying to decide whether or not to get a PC because of very annoying issues after upgrading my OS.I don't care for Apple's business practices, and saying that is often taken as political.
