Whats For Dinner/Supper ?

I think it's going to be leftover beef, veg and barley soup.

I walked to the local polling place and it was such a nice morning I pushed on to the local Tops friendly market.

I snagged a couple of small packages of stew beef with a manager’s markdown sticker.

When I got home I put together a Pyrex loaf pan full of Peg Bracken’s Stay-a-Bed Beef Stew.

That will take care of what passes for cooking until sometime next week.

Roast pork is a favorite and for some reason it rarely occurs to me to fix it.

One of my favorites is thinly sliced cold roast pork with onions and mayo on fresh rye bread.

Delivery night at Pappys house. Medium pizza with sauce, cheese, pepperoni, sausage and extra cheese. Enough for two meals for us.

Split pea soup and chicken wings with Caesar salad.

We've just had a nice spicy Chicken Jalfrezzi. Yum Yum!

A cheeseburger with oven baked fries and a crunchy Claussen dill pickle.

Salmon sauteed in butter and olive oil with scallions; topped with chopped cilantro. Broccoli and a salad. Enough leftover for tomorrow. Oh, and 2 slices of home made bread I baked earlier.

Doggie had her portion of salmon cooked first and plain.
