Today I am going to continue trying to match up my 2 tablets. I have a bunch of stuff that is not sync capable, so it needs to be imputed one thing at a time. Also, there are a lot of picture on them that need to be cleaned out.

I guess I had better

Hawky have you spoken to your doctor about the shaky hands ?

how old are the kids..mine will be 48 soon..and no ..if it can't be done on the phone she's not interested in it...
My kids are 43, 46 and 50 which makes me old:)).

Yesterday I was able to do my big grocery shopping for the month and then I took the dogs on a short walk. Then I was so exhausted I slept for 2 hours. It felt so good to leave the house. Today I am going out for lunch, a few errands and then will walk my little doggies.

be careful lol..my daughter is older than your 2 youngest at almost 48..and I'm definitely not old...:D

Lucky me. Brought my car in to get it inspected and I need $700 work done. This is a very reputable garage and I trust them 100%. So I will be spending the next few hours sitting in a cold, sparse waiting room, waiting.....
same thing with me last week.. almost £700 spent on repairs on my car.. and then the first week in January it still has to have £300 worth of work done

I've got to buy a new Ipad at some point, I think I'd have to take it to an apple store.. which is a zillion miles from here to have them transfer my data from the old to the new, because I just wouldn't know what to do..This is where I miss my very IT minded husband

Hi y'all. Haven't been to this thread in some time. I've just been continuing to take care of my dog who has a very serious condition. Been giving her a narcotic cough medicine every 8 hours. Sometimes I can't sleep because I am trying to keep on schedule with the medicine for her.

I sleep when I can at all kinda of hours. I'm hoping and praying she doesn't get worse and would appreciate any prayers or vibes you can send her way. Thanks and a good weekend to you ❣️

Due to arthritis and neuropathy I average a typo on every other word. I usually keep my messages short unless I have a lot of time for corrections. I hope you find a way. We enjoy your input.

Hosted our final - and very fun - holiday party last night. The two older grandchildren are coming back today to spend the night.

Tomorrow afternoon through Sunday we'll be doing the same with the two year old. I'll see if I can get their visits to overlap. Although they saw each other last night at the party, the kids are happy to have plenty of cousin time.

. @ hollydolly. Here is a very good YouTube telling you how to transfer data from your old iPad to the brand. New iPad.

I'm home and bushed, but at least I didn't have to work alone. When I got there what to my wondering eyes did appear? NL! It's her day off, but there was so much to be done that she came in at 5 and worked until 10. I am and was very grateful. My own day was a solid six hours. Usually it's only 5. That one hour makes a world of difference in how I feel at the end of a shift...tired!

Sir is gone to Oklahoma for his father's funeral. I swear that family has had more than its share this year. His brother died only about a month ago, his mother last spring, an aunt in the fall.

There's a nap on my agenda this afternoon.

A busy day today!

Picked up some exercise stuff I bought from someone local who is selling all their pilates stuff. Popped into the supermarket and found some great food bargains and then, this afternoon, went round the shops and bought presents for the family New Year's eve gathering; we actually saved £200 on the original prices so, I didn't feel guilty at all when I splashed out on a new pair of leather ankle boots reduced from £85 to £30! Really folks, all the walking I have done today, I will probably need a new pair of boots and anyways, I can't go to the get-together wearing old boots, they will all gossip about me  ;)

I've just been reading the local Neighbourhood App.. and one guy says.. that he's just bought an Ikea wardrobe , now he needs someone to come and put it together for free...as he has no money...

Made me laugh when someone said ''did you get the wardrobe for free as well''...

Another person posted that their car has broken down and the dealers can't see to it until the end of January.. could someone lend them a car for a month ! :D

Transferring data from one device to another is a pretty simple operation that any computer service shop in your area would be able to do, assuming they service Apple products. There'll be a charge for it of course but it's not a huge cost. They can also set your new device up properly for you. Google "computer service" in your area; read the reviews and pick one. Call them in advance if you have questions.

Have seen the great news that the GoFundMe, for one of my teammates in the conservation/restoration group who has breast cancer, has reached 75% of the goal (in 12 days)!

Weather is warmer for a bit now. Not sure if it dipped below freezing last night, but when I first went out it was a couple degrees above. Today it's the usual outdoor & indoor chores. Also, I'll be helping DW to prepare some food for people who will be coming to visit or stay overnight here in the next couple days.

Yesterday I embarked on something completely new for me. DW has owned a well-made Singer sewing machine for a long time, acquired 2nd-hand without a manual. It's complicated to thread, and that's kept her from using it, though she knows how to use other people's simpler machines. Using two Youtube videos as my guide, I taught myself from zero yesterday. I completed the set-up this morning, and was able to do the first machine stitching in my life!... but just a bit of practice on a small scrap piece of fabric.:D
