I have a beautiful one which comes with my magazine subscription every year.. and it came last week.. I put it straight in the bin along with all the other leaflets that come with the magazine every month
 

Darn. Found an okay calendar but only bought it because there weren't many left to choose from. It's got kitties and books on the pictures. I've already marked it with the birthdays and other significant dates.

It's supposed to sNOw tonight/tomorrow in Georgia about 100 miles north of us. We won't get any of it, but it's gonna be cold. I may need to break in my new electric socks.
 
Phew! (Wiping brow 😂) just completed an eBook video trailer for my series.

Had to first write the text on photos, then photo on photo (for each characters). Once done, put everything in correct order, added the music. Might require tweaking but for now, it's good.

One thing more off to-do list. Will upload later, maybe in new year.

Going back to watching telly series on the box 😂. Goodnight!
 
I drove one of the guys to U-Haul this morning so he cold rent a van. On the way back I had to squeeze over in a woodsy area to let a car pass that was maneuvering around a parked vehicle. Then I heard a thud followed by some scraping sounds. Did my tail pipe fall off? Once home I discovered a branch sticking out behind the right front wheel. I pulled it out and got ready for my doctor's appointment.

On my way into town the scraping noise resumed. It only happened on an uneven surface. I had a man look at it when I got home and he found another branch wedged in under the car. It looked like I had broken off a section and left the rest behind.
Everything seems OK now and the doctor's appointment went well.
 
~Realized I’d better have PDF copies of my last couple years taxes so pulled those forms up in my tax programs and downloaded them.
~Napped off and on for a good part of the day until my son came home with my Costco order.
~I put away the groceries that had to be refrigerated and had to do some rearranging in our storage closet to fit the bundles of TP, paper towels and a Swiffer box.

~During the rearranging, I finally found the navy sweatpants and hot pink skirt I've been searching for. They were in a laundry bag I thought contained something else.
~Did my accounting for the day; added my Costco purchases to my FBP spreadsheet.

I was boogying to Hip Hop and House music songs while I worked. Played this the most. It’s been in my head the last couple of days. It’s all about the beat but I love when she says “I’m going home”. There is some amazing break dancing in this video.

Could you have done these things when you were younger? It would be break dancing for real if we tried them now. We'd break our necks and backs! :ROFLMAO:

There was a spectacular launch tonight of the Falcon Heavy Rocket, which they've been trying to get off the ground for days. The sky was clear with an almost-full moon and the atmospheric conditions were excellent, so there was a bright glowing tail and what looked like "tentacles" when the burn ended. You could even see the boosters/tanks/whatever they were coming down to land at the spaceport, instead of on a floating platform at sea.

All things willing, there will be another rocket launched sometime around 11 p.m. tonight. I've never seen two launched in the same evening before, so I'm looking forward to that.
 
Didn't have time yesterday to buy new shower curtain, but today I am schlepping to a very large dollar type store blocks from me, instead of my nearest one. That way I get in a nice walk, see more merchandise and maybe on the way home MIGHT stop at the best bagel store around and treat myself.

Couldn't sleep got up after 5 a.m.
Have had my breakfast & coffee.

Yesterday the 3 of us went to the Salamancia Antique mall.
Think we spend 2 or 3 hours wandering around looking.

Then traveled to Portville N.Y for lunch.

Waiting for son to get up.
He has to go back to have his incision checked.
Arrived here with a nasty boil on his side.
Had see doctor to get it lanced. :eek: o_O
 
Blessed today once more. Went out to get missing items from last list. Got mayo double special, fresh lettuce, Dijon mustard, Espresso ground coffee and last shop we went in...

TADA! Small Turkey with giblets for New Year's Day... (Sadly, we'd lost the other half from Christmas).

Staying put under January now, a well deserved break from the year that was. Sun is still shining but MetOffice Weather is speaking of downpour coming in this afternoon and into the evening.
